Abstract:This paper presents the works done by several research groups from University of Extremadura and CETA-CIEMAT (Centro Extremeño de Tecnologías Avanzadas) in order to deploy an infrastructure for distributed computing over Secondary School computing resources at Extremadura (Spain). To achieve the highest levels of performance, some tests have been developed. From small proofs of concepts with a few dozens of computers to large deployments devoted to big and real projects. Other works, such as damage hardware ratio or virtualization, are also presented.
